About Andrea

Andrea is a passionate real estate agent focused on changing lives through home and land sales. Her husband Jared and her live in Downtown Monroe with their son Malcom and lab Yeller. Jared is an attorney with Preston & Malcom attorneys in Monroe. They are active members at Grace Monroe Church in town. Her family has owned Malcom & Malcom Realty Professionals for over 15 years as one of the top firms in the Walton / Barrow / Morgan County area. Andrea’s mom, Lee Malcom, is her broker, and her father, Andy, co-owner, both with whom she partners side-by-side to bring the highest value of knowledge and experience to her clients. She never works to make a quick sale; but instead, she works to find her clients the perfect fit in a home or investment property. Andrea believes that client-focused commitment is what separates her from the competition. She is committed to providing a quick response time, and her ability to execute transaction documents is second to none. Time is of the essence in real estate!

Before she started in real estate, she worked in the tech startup space in Atlanta, GA, selling online ordering for To-Go food to national restaurant groups all around the country such as Outback, Steak n Shake, Ruby Tuesdays, and more. She learned quickly how to give presentations to C-level executives and gain their trust and attention for her product. Tech sales can be intimidating, as the sales cycle typically runs 12-18 months and involves a ton of trial and error. This field taught Andrea many valuable skills: the skills of negotiation, persuasion, and tenacity, just to name a few. But the skill of creating long-lasting and trustworthy relationships with people can only come to those people that truly commit themselves to their own personal integrity. And that is one of the biggest reasons that she has succeeded in business: technology then, and real estate now.
