Real estate is the only career I have ever known. I began my real estate career in 1985 specializing in real estate marketing and received my Virginia real estate license in 1992. I have sold real estate throughout Central and Coastal Virginia for more than three decades. My husband, Mark, who is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and I have lived on the Virginia Peninsula from 1986 through 1999 when we made the move to the Williamsburg area in 1999. We are proud to call this area our home. Our daughter, Angelina, graduated from Jamestown High School in 2016, worked at Ferguson and is now working from the townhome she purchased in 2021 and is attending college. Our son, Logan, graduated from Warhill High School in 2020, enlisted in the US Army in 2020, has returned to Williamsburg after serving his country for 4.5 years and will be attending college in January of 2027.
After spending my youth as an US Army Brat, my parents, who are originally from Akron, Ohio, decided to retire on the Virginia Peninsula. I understand the stress of moving as I have lived in Munich, Germany; El Paso, Texas; Ft. Lee, Virginia; Akron, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio; Sharp Army Depot near Stockton, California; Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas; Ft. Monroe, Virginia; Army Donnington, England; Ft. Hood, Texas; and Ft. Knox, Kentucky, where I graduated from high school. While most of our extended family lives in Northeastern Ohio, my family has made Virginia our home. I have two brothers, Steve, who graduated from Virginia Military Institute in Lexington (his wife Andrea graduated from the University of Virginia) and Tom, who graduated from Randolph Macon College (his wife, Dawn graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University). I earned my BSBA with a concentration in Real Estate from Christopher Newport University.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, binge watching the latest series on Netflix or Hulu and watching one of my favorite sports teams: The Ohio State Buckeyes football team, The Cleveland Browns (I still have hope that they will win the Super Bowl), The Cleveland Cavaliers, or The Cleveland Guardians (but they will always be the Indians to me).
