He assembled a team of experts and guided us through each step of the process from the time we signed on the first dotted line until the time we signed on the last dotted line. Andrew met with me one on one in the beginning to come and see my older home and listened to me as I shared stories and why I loved my home as well as taking detailed notes and photos about the home's shortcomings and issues that needed repair as well.
He assured me that he would communicate with me at every step, hire and take care of all the work and repairs, as well as guide me through all I needed to do and the detailed overwhelming processes that go with preparing an older home for sale as well as paperwork and necessary legalities.

Chuck is an amazing realtor. He truly goes out of his way to find the best possible property for you. He really listens to your criteria and searches hard to find the right place. He is open, friendly and has great integrity. We LOVED working with Chuck.

From day one, and even after escrow closed, Chuck was always available by phone or text and would respond very quickly. He did a lot of extras, like driving over to our new home on a rainy day to fill sandbags, because the house had drainage issues. He also brought over ladders and other equipment for us. After we purchased, there was a huge rainstorm which caused a leak in our house. Chuck came over that day and suggested someone to fix the problem immediately. He stayed the entire time the drainage expert was there. Chuck really is an exceptional person, and we couldn’t have been luckier to find him!

We couldn’t have gotten our house without Chuck being so on top of the real estate market, and he was always ready to listen to us to find the right place. We looked at many properties, and in the end, it was Chuck who found us our dream home and told us to go out and visit it immediately! :) Chuck really helped us refine our criteria and found us the perfect home, even during the middle of the coronavirus shutdown. My whole family is so grateful for his professionalism, generosity of time and spirit, and his fervent commitment to finding us the perfect place.

Chuck is excellent at navigating paperwork, communicating with lenders, and he pays great attention at each inspection. He often notices extra details to ask the inspector about. He has a broad base of knowledge about construction, areas to live in, horticulture, aesthetics, etc. All of his knowledge was helpful when we were deciding on where to live.

If you are looking for a home in the San Diego area, there is no better realtor than Chuck Crist. He will make sure that you get the exact house you need, no matter how many items need to be checked off to do it! His negotiating skills are excellent, and, because we were working with Chuck, we had complete confidence in the whole process. Buying a home can be daunting, but Chuck will find you a gem.

I have known Chuck Crist for over 30 years and when my wife, Elizabeth, and I began the daunting challenge of preparing and then selling our long time home, Chuck was the first person we thought of to represent us. We chose Chuck as our Realtor without hesitation because we know we can trust him. We also knew that he would provide us with sound advice on preparing, marketing and then negotiating to get the best price on our home and he did.

At first, we were reluctant to put any money into our home and were resigned to taking the best offer we could get. Then Chuck explained that if we would be willing to spend a reasonable amount of money on making the home look it's best to create the ideal first impression without breaking the bank, we could get much more. With that, Chuck recommended a contractor to paint the exterior home and kitchen cabinets as well as complete some lite landscaping in the yard. To our surprise, all of the work was completed in less than 2 weeks and Chuck's concierge program advanced us the funds to complete the improvements, which we reimbursed after we closed escrow. By following Chuck's recommendations, and using his network of professional contractors, we made three dollars for every dollar we spent and the best part is that we ultimately sold our home at full list price in 30 days.

As if that wasn't enough, Chuck was simultaneously helping Elizabeth and I buy a new turnkey home at a great price, collaborate with his lender and facilitate the new home and roof inspections to ensure that we were going to have a sound home to live in for many years to come. We couldn't be happier with our new home and the fact that we were able to get a historically low interest rate, combined with a home and roof warranty, means that Chuck and his network of service providers and staff exceeded our expectations, which was quite the accomplishment.

I'll make it easy, we couldn't recommend a realtor to anyone more highly than Chuck Crist. We were in good hands every step of the way, Chuck was in constant contact, updating us on the process daily and in the end we have nothing but great things to say about working with Chuck and his team of professionals!

We decided to have our vacant land listed with Chuck Crist after reading some reviews and our first meeting with Chuck. As soon as we met Chuck we felt very comfortable that he was the right agent for us. After completing the sale of the land we both knew that we went with the right realtor. Chuck is a true professional, always returned our inquiries (texts, phone calls or e-mails) very promptly and followed up with everything. In fact we felt like the entire transaction was on auto pilot from our point of view because Chuck took care of everything. That is exactly what we were looking for in selling our property because we don't even live in the same county. Chuck is the best realtor we have ever worked with.
Because we just owned a small parcel of land Chuck's commission was so little that I don't think he even made minimum wage on our transaction. Even then Chuck put as much work into our transaction as any other transaction with much higher sale price. We never felt like he was putting less effort into our listing because of the small commission. So if Chuck is your realtor he will definitely represent you in the best way possible. A true professional with integrity.

There are maybe half a dozen people (aside from family), that over time, I know will be anchors in my life. I can only hope that Chuck Crist, of Cabrillo Team Realty, will be one of those longstanding pillars. Chuck went beyond the role of Realtor and quickly became our Trusted Advisor.

My husband and I began our real estate purchase journey over two years ago, with many changes and turns along the way. We met Chuck about a year into our process, and immediately felt secure that he would be our Agent of choice.

Chuck exhibits a level-headed depth of strength that continuously set our minds at ease throughout the entire process. He patiently empowered us, walking us through the steps of each decision, asking pertinent and significant questions– all the while, giving us the tools needed to assist in leading us to each best, wise decision. When requested by us, he would then insert his advised direction.

I typically never take the time to write a review, but the service from Chuck Crist was so exceptional that it deserved a review and so much more!

My boyfriend and I attended an open house in Valley Center that Chuck was showing, which is where we met him. He was very honest, attentive, and genuine. He did not pressure us into putting an offer on the house and was honest about some of the downfalls of the property. As a seller's agent, we really appreciated the fact that he represented his client while still respecting our concerns about the property. We ended up not putting in an offer on the house, and looked at another house in Valley Center. Chuck's professionalism, candor, and knowledge really stuck out to us so we asked him to be our realtor in putting an offer on the second house and ultimately purchasing our FIRST home!

Being that this was our first time purchasing a house, we did not know anything about the process. Chuck was patient and took the time to explain everything to us so that we felt comfortable with this transaction the entire time. He listened to our comments and concerns and addressed them all in an exceptional manner. There was actually one major issue regarding the title report, which could have potentially made the transaction fall through. My boyfriend and I were really sad to think that we may not be able to purchase our dream home because of this. But Chuck went above and beyond to contact everyone who needed to be involved and resolved what we thought was impossible to resolve!

Chuck was also very responsive and made himself available via email, phone, and text, even past business hours. He always returned our calls, texts or emails in record time and never took longer than several hours. Even if communication was not required, Chuck went out of his way to check in with us to see how we were doing and if we had any questions. When we had questions for our lender or escrow company, Chuck remained involved every step of the way and either addressed our questions or worked with our lender and escrow company to have an answer for us.

When we met with Chuck at the house to get our keys after work, he was so thoughtful and bought us pizza for dinner so that we would not starve while moving things into the house. Even after the transaction concluded, Chuck remained in contact with us to see how our move was coming along and even set up an appointment to have our house re-keyed and our house cleaned prior to moving in! Chuck has personal references for just about anything and went out of his way to provide information about utility companies (water, propane, internet, cable, electric, etc.), tips on how to save money, and advice on how to manage our yard!

I could go on about how wonderful my experience with Chuck was, and to say that his service was PERFECT is an understatement. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. THANK YOU SO MUCH, CHUCK! You truly made our first home purchase easy and enjoyable.

Andrew was on it at every turn. House needed significant repairs and he had capable contractors for all trades. Contractors were professional, reasonable priced and work was top quality. Andrew recommended upgrades and repairs that were required and ones that were not. He paid for himself by putting dollars in the right place. Every dollar spent was returned two fold. $11k over asking, 30 days escrow, clean offer with no contingencies and no home inspection repairs requested. Who could ask for anything more.
