Andy Mahowald

Andy Mahowald is a broker from Watertown, South Dakota, where he is co-owner of Insight Realty Group. He practices residential, commercial, and land brokerage, and has more than 25 years of real estate experience in brokerage and management.

From early in his career, Andy recognized that volunteering in the industry is integral to being an effective practitioner. Andy remains active in the REALTOR® organization at all three levels; local, state, and national.

His past roles include; National Association of REALTORS® Region 8 Regional Vice President, RPAC Trustee for both South Dakota and the National Association, NAR Federal Political Coordinator for Senator John Thune, and 2004 South Dakota REALTORS® President. Andy has served on the NAR Finance Committee and many other national, state, and local committees. He also serves on his local planning committee and Board of Adjustment.

When he’s not serving in real estate, Andy can be found enjoying family activities and all that South Dakota has to offer.
