About Andy

Born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Andy is married to Tammy (a retired Vice President with Shore Bank). He has a step-son (Alex) and two dogs - Hin and Tilly. His wife and he have restored an 1813 Federal Style home in the town of Accomac. He loves the outdoors from fishing, hunting, golf and growing vegetables in his garden. His wife after 25 year career in Banking joined the firm and they now work together. Their logo is "The Spouses that List & Sell Houses".

He describes himself as being a second generation realtor. He received his salesman license in 1986 and his broker’s license in 1990. After graduating from St. Andrews Presbyterian College, he started working in the family business. In 1988, he started a real estate appraisal company (Atlantic Appraisal Company, Eastern Shore, Inc.). In the early 1990''s, due to his father’s health problems, he moved the appraisal company in with the real estate company. In 1997, he purchased the business. In that same year, he merged his appraisal company with the real estate company running both companies under the Mason-Davis name. In 1999, he opened the first full service title insurance and closing/escrow agency on the Shore (Accomack Title & Settlement, Inc.- ). He is the past board member and the current president of the Eastern Shore Association of Realtors. He is actively involved with the Virginia Association of Realtors and a graduate of the Leadership Academy of the Virginia Association of Realtors. He has his ABR designation (Accredited Buyers Representation) and his SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist).
