Andy Westby

Andy Westby is President and Managing Broker of Goldmark Commercial Real Estate. He joined Goldmark Commercial in 2015 after spending 15 years working for both large and small technology companies. In those roles, he interacted closely with businesses and executives in nearly every industry around the world.

As a real estate agent and auctioneer at Goldmark Commercial Real Estate, Westby quickly became a market leader in the sale of agricultural, undeveloped, and developed land along with commercial sales and leasing of office and industrial properties. He served as the 2018 president of COMEX, an organization representing the local commercial brokerage community. He was also named the Goldmark Commercial Agent of the Year for 2017 and 2018. He was promoted to President & Managing Broker in 2019. Andy achieved the esteemed SIOR designation in 2020 as an Office Specialist, then again in 2022 as a dual Office & Industrial Specialist (one of only 154 in the world at the time). He sits on the advisory board of the Minnesota/Dakota’s Chapter of SIOR, and is also a member of the national IBG committee for SIOR. Since 2016, Andy has completed over 400 commercial real estate transactions totaling over $360M in deal value.

Andy is a native of Rosholt, SD where he grew up in his family’s farming, real estate, and auctioneering businesses. He is a graduate of North Dakota State University and is also a licensed Auctioneer in North Dakota and Minnesota, using the auction method to sell land and help area non-profits in their fund-raising efforts. Outside of work, he and his wife enjoy traveling and raising their 3 boys on their rural North Dakota farm.
