I was born in China and have called Montville, Connecticut home since I moved to the United States at 7 years old. At 16, I became a caregiver for my father, an experience that continues to teach me about patience, resilience, and how to navigate challenges with communication, attention to detail, and flexibility. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and History.
