Angela Liegel was raised in Atlanta by German immigrant parents, received a degree in International Business from Pennsylvania State University, and upon graduation packed up all her belongings and moved to Munich for her first grown-up job working for Daimler Benz in Munich. Two years later, she took a sales & marketing role with Yahoo! when they expanded into Europe. They were laying tracks in front of a speeding train back in the early days of the internet and she loved every crazy, innovative moment of it! 16 years ago, she returned to the United States to be closer to family and continued her career focusing on development work in the non-profit sector with Lurie Children’s and Loyola University Chicago.
During this time, she bought her first home – A Wicker Park brick Victorian built in 1869 – and the entire process of exploring the various neighborhoods, weighing her current and future needs, developing an eye for quality workmanship, securing financing, and choosing just the right house for her sparked a passion for Chicago real estate. This passion has led to the purchase and renovation of three west side foreclosures that are now profitable investment properties.
Her focus has always been on relationships - understanding the needs of people, finding the appropriate solutions, and delivering results that benefit everyone involved. She would be delighted to be your partner in finding the right home in the right neighborhood for you whether it is your first home, your eighth Chicago residence, an investment property, or the development of vacant land.
