Over the years, Rickman personally purchased and sold multiple properties. Rickman grew up in San Diego County since Junior High School. She graduated from Crawford High School and attended San Diego State University. In 2007 she married Donald C. Rickman, her high school sweetheart. She is an avid physical fitness practitioner and a lifetime healthy living advocate. Hosting family gatherings, playing the piano, dining out, scrapbooking and traveling are the highlights of her life.

Angela Rickman is a Christian with high moral and ethical principles–honesty is key. As a highly active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Epsilon Xi Omega Chapter, Rickman holds various leadership positions and helps with youth activities.
