Angela Shelton

Angela joined the BMG team in December of 2020 but is no stranger to the real estate industry. As our Director of Real Estate Sales and Marketing for Bay Property Management Group Northern Virginia, Angela draws on her years of experience to assist various clients. She has been in the property management industry for more than a decade, along with more than nine years of experience as a real estate agent and one year as a broker. This extensive industry knowledge makes Angela a trusted and valuable member of our team.

Typically, Angela spends most of her day managing the leasing department to ensure everything runs smoothly. This includes providing top-notch customer service, implementing new processes, training new staff, and tracking payroll. In addition, Angela is the go-to person to educate owners who are considering selling their property. That said, she uses her real estate background to create dynamic marketing materials for property advertisements while ensuring everything stays on track for employees, owners, and tenants. For Angela, the work is never done, and every day is a little different. Besides her other responsibilities, she can often be found running reports, auditing, and assisting with compliance items. When asked what her favorite part of her job was, Angela responded:

“Being able to share my vast knowledge for the business to help problem-solve through different scenarios that surface and help come up with positive solutions. Every day is something new, never a dull moment in property management and real estate.”

Her best piece of advice for those considering this field is to make sure you really love what you do. It is a good feeling to know you are caring for someone’s biggest investment and providing them with peace of mind they are in good hands.
