About Anita

Before starting her real estate career, Anita traveled with her family in their Foreign Service assignments with the U.S. Department of State, to exotic places in Europe, Africa and Asia. Their assignments allowed her to develop a diverse working background and afforded her great exposure to multiple cultures. She believes her many years in Foreign Service taught her to be sensitive to the needs of Diplomatic and Military families and to understand their unique circumstances when it comes to buying or renting homes. As a result of her overseas life and work experiences, beginning a new career in Real Estate in 2007 upon their return to the United States was a natural transition. As you will recall, 2007 was not a good year for real estate. House foreclosures started flooding the market, driving prices lower, and seasoned realtors were forced to find other jobs. She, however, was able to overcome these challenges by providing outstanding service and adding value to her clients, so much so, she was recognized as 2007 NVAR Multi-Million Dollar Top Producer, an achievement she has attained each year since 2007. She honestly believes that real estate, especially income-producing rental property, is a solid long-term investment. This type of investment is capable of producing more stable income and long-term capital growth while avoiding the volatility of the stock market if you buy at the right price and location. She is an active real estate investor, and owns/manages several properties in Northern Virginia, Maryland and California. Let her be your guide in building a solid real estate portfolio. She also believes in helping to convert home renters into homeowners. Real estate has always been the most secure investment and the tax advantages of being a homeowner will always be a good long-term investment.
