About Anita

Anita has been working full time in real estate since 2005 and has found a true calling in helping people pursue their dreams. Anita is highly skilled in real estate transactions and brings her wisdom and years of experience to play in service her clients. Jay joined the Big Sky Brokers team with Anita in 2015. He has managed and owned businesses in town and brings to the table an expertise in negotiation skills and, as an avid sportsman, an in-depth knowledge of land and ranch properties as well as recreational areas and opportunities. Jay and Anita’s daughter, Cassi, joined the team in 2018, bringing with her a passion for organization, experience in graphics design and a love of our community and the surrounding area.

They have a passion for this city, its growth, people and all who value its beauty. She also values hard work, good communication, people and their stories. Her experience in real estate is marked by not only their knowledge of the market and specifics of this industry but also how they deeply care about those they serve. Many of their past clients have said that what started as simply looking for a new home developed into finding friends for life. They value your time and individual needs along with attention to detail within every transaction.

They also value knowledge of the properties and areas in and around Helena, working to stay on the cutting edge of market knowledge, as well as developments and the regulations for expansion and building in the county. Anita has been certified with GRI, ABR and taken several CRS classes which simply means she is educated in every aspect of real estate and investments. Jay is also certified with GRI and has done many classes specialized to ranch and land sales.

Outside of real estate, they have been married 36+ years, raised 3 children as well as many others who came to stay. They are immensely proud of their 11 grandkids who all live nearby. In 2006, they founded a non-profit for young adults called Life Houses, Inc., are former Bigs for Big Brothers Big Sisters and avid supporters of the Carroll College Athletic Association (Jay sits on the board).
