Ann Simpson

Upon entering the industry in 1997 Ann Simpson immediately demonstrated to the industry and the Greenwich market that her challenging work, her ability to listen and an intuitive nature were going to be her keys to success. A “Rookie of the Year” award was created within her company to acknowledge Ann’s achievements in her first year. Since then, Ann has consistently performed at a level to earn recognition as a top producer within Greenwich, Berkshire Hathaway New England, New York, and Westchester Properties and nationwide.

In 2011, Ann earned a ranking of #1 out of the 1,600 Realtors within Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New England Properties. This distinction also earned her the Berkshire Hathaway’s Chairman’s Circle Diamond Award by placing her in the top one-half percent of their 68,000 sales executives throughout North America. Statewide, in a list compiled by the Wall Street Journal and Real Trends, Ann was ranked fourth for volume.

In 2015, Ann placed #1 in Old Greenwich and Riverside in real estate sales and #7 in Greenwich overall among all the brokers servicing the region. In 2016, Ann's success continued with a top ten performance within Berkshire Hathaway's 1,800 brokers in Connecticut, #2 in Old Greenwich and Riverside and #14 in the town of Greenwich.

Ann has sustained this consistent level of performance by placing #2 in Old Greenwich, Riverside and Cos Cob and seventh in all of Greenwich in both 2017 and 2018. Her performance in 2018 also ranked her second within Berkshire Hathaway New England Properties. On a national level, Ann's 2018 performance earned her the Berkshire Hathaway's Chairman's Circle Diamond. (Top 1/2 of 1%) and placed her in the top 100 agents out of 50,000 agents nationwide.

With all the challenges within the Greenwich market in 2019, Ann maintained an outstanding level of performance ended up as #3 in Old Greenwich and Riverside and top fifteen in the overall Greenwich Market.

2020 had its own challenges between the adjustments of Covid, the increase demand with limited supply, Ann continues to service her buyers and sellers to earn her the #2 ranking in Old Greenwich and Riverside and maintaining #15 spot in Greenwich with sales that exceeded $62,000,000.

2021 was another award-winning year for Ann. On a national level, Ann's 2021 performance earned her the Berkshire Hathaway's Chairman's Circle Dimond placing #2 in the company (Top 1/2 of 1%) and placed her in the top one hundred agents out of 50,000 agents nationwide.

This level of consistent performance earned Ann Berkshire Hathaway's 20-year Legend Award for being in the top 1/2 of 1% for 20 years.

Ann has found that through referrals and repeat business in town, life stays busy, and she would have it no other way. During the 25 years that Ann has been in the market, she has always been among the top brokers in Greenwich.

Ann's performance has not been through magic. It has been through her reputation, relationships, and trust that she has established through her 42 years of living, working, and volunteering within the Greenwich community, schools, and private clubs. Personal: Ann lives in Riverside with her husband Peter where they raised two daughters who both went through the Greenwich Public Schools. Peter grew up in Greenwich, is also in the real estate business and coaches’ girls’ lacrosse both with GYL and at Greenwich High School. Devon Kelly, the eldest, has been teaching and coaching in the Greenwich school system for over 15 years and is now working with Ann as she has recently received her real estate license. Their younger daughter, Martelle Simpson Blaine, is a Physician Assistant practicing in Northern Virginia.
