Her understanding of how the different neighborhoods are, was very helpful in deciding where to buy. She is also very organized and efficient in her showings. We had a very tight work schedule. Fantastic experience. We had very specific criteria for our new home. My family has worked with Apara for last 4 years. Had some hiccups with financing etc on the sale side but she was on top of it all to working late nights and weekends and made sure all timelines were met. I liked the fact that I was always able to talk to her directly and not those team types where you get pushed to an assistant's assistant. I can tell why Apara is one of the top agents in Chicago market. Things I specially appreciated were that she took time to understand what I wanted, her quick response time at odd hours due to my job shift, and that she got me into pre-market showings (from which I ended up buying final house).

1) Apara listened to our requirements, knows the market and the neighborhoods, and pre-screened the homes. Apara went above and beyond the auto MLS searches to identify prospective homes that specifically fit our needs.

2) Apara made effective use of our time when we went out looking at homes.
When we set a date to meet, she pre-scheduled the entire day, making sure we saw a wide range of houses, and every house in which we had specifically shown interest. We saw a couple of homes at different times to compare how much sunlight the home got

3) Apara is an outstanding negotiator
Apara helped us negotiate a good price, and held the seller accountable for all promised repairs. Apara accompanied the home inspector, and used the feedback to negotiate a set of repairs (some of which were more like free improvements!) without us having to lift a finger. Has intensive network.
