April Barra

April Barra is a native Floridian, born in Plant City, and has made the Tampa Bay area home for many years. Much has changed over the years but enjoying the Florida lifestyle will never change and she loves sharing her love of the Tampa Bay area and Florida history through real estate!

April has been licensed as a real estate agent since 1987 and maintained a continuing real estate education while raising her family. When she started working again, her real estate license opened the door for a long and prosperous career in wireless telecom. She enjoyed a 20-year career working her way up the ladder with a large wireless carrier. But she still wanted to follow her dream. In 2015, April decided the time was right and began her real estate career and soon left the corporate world behind. Her project management experience and strong communication skills have proven to be very beneficial in providing excellent service. Real estate has been a long-time passion and April delivers that enthusiasm to each of her clients and strives to deliver the best real estate experience ever!

April and her husband James live in the Tampa Bay area and have two beautiful daughters and seven wonderful grandchildren. When they aren’t working they love to cook and enjoy outdoor activities – boating, biking, hiking, and walking and of course spoiling the grandkids when they can.
