She is a proud mother of three grown daughters, two sons-in-law, and grandmother to five granddaughters. April has called Huntsville, Alabama home for over forty years, having moved there from Long Island, New York in 1979. In 2003, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Management) from Strayer University.
