I first started communicating with Arlene back in February 2024 according to her records. I couldn't remember myself because we had exchanged so many emails and communication over that time. We started looking in the Clearwater St. Pete area because that's where we thought we wanted to be. Over time and through a series of contract opportunities we ended up in Sarasota. Arlene never failed to respond to my questions and changes of plan. A less patient person would have written me off I'm sure!

My goal was always to be closer to the water when I retired(not yet)and Gainesville was just too far from any ocean. Mission accomplished!

When we started looking in the Venice area we knew we were home. We also had to move quickly because we had a hot offer on our house in Gainesville and wanted to make a smooth transition. Arlene worked very hard to make that happen. Her determination to find us a place we loved, give some needed advice, and the knowledge to make a wise purchase are the mark of a professional.

She doesn't quit serving you once the contract is signed either. She's been there to answer questions and help us for weeks afterwards. Highly recommend!

I was living in PA, looking to buy a house in Sarasota, FL. I happen to find Arlene online, and boy did I hit the jackpot! I couldn’t be happier with her realtor services. We ended up building, so I have been working with her for an entire year. She was very thorough, making sure the builder was doing what they were supposed to do. She checked on my house often, and caught things that may have normally been overlooked. We just closed on our house October 30th, and we are just thrilled all around. Arlene was amazing to work with. She never hesitated to help us in this journey to move across state and find a new home.
Even when we couldn’t be here in person, she would FaceTime with us to show us homes so that we knew whether or not to make the 4 hour trip.
We found the perfect home for us, and then a Hurricane hit the area. We were scared, to say the least, that our new house would be affected, that the closing would be delayed…all the things that go with the fear of the devastation that it caused.
Arlene remained available throughout it all, even through caring for her own family.
She kept us calm with her amazing disposition, and ultimately made it all come together without missing a beat.
We arrived at our new home to find the most beautiful gift basket full of goodies for us AND our dogs!

Honestly don't even look further. Out of 5 agents I had to chose from, Arlene was the only one with integrity, compassion, honesty, and trustworthiness. She actually answers her phone and keeps in contact with you (like your her priority). Hard to come by, and definitely valued as a home buyer. Arlene is also easy to work with, therefore preferred by most other agents.

Arlene made the purchase of our new home so special. We were so blessed to have an absolute amazing realtor that went over and beyond our expectations. Being out of state trying to find a home in Florida was a challenge as they sold so quickly. Arlene sent me many and within a day or 2 they had pending contracts. The last house she sent we did a video walk through and I asked her honest opinion which she was very honest and we appreciated that. She was also on top of everything that needed get done from contract to closing.. She also provided us with some very valuable information to help our move from out of state go smoothly. When ever I called or texted her if she didn’t answer right away she acknowledged receipt and responded a time of when she was able to get back to us. If there would be a 10 star rating that would be my rating for Arlene.
In January of 2021 we decided to ditch the once great state of Minnesota (I will not get into the details here but I am sure the readers know why, and it was not the bad weather as the primary factor ...). and move to the still Great State of Florida. Having 3 school age children and some animals it was not as easy to find a rental for sure. My wife looking on various social media platforms found Arlene who besides being a realtor also helps people finding rentals. So I contacted her by phone and explain the situation. My first impression was that she is a straight forward person who would like to help us. While we were still in Minnesota she send us numerous rental properties that she found. Unfortunately finding a 4 bedroom to rent in Sarasota was not easy and turned out that we found a different property not through Arlene. However once we moved to Sarasota in mid July of 2021, a few months later we contacted back Arlene, so we can start looking for a house to buy in the area.
This was the point when having her as an agent made a huge difference. First of all she can do the search for the kind of property you are looking for and send you the results within hours of properties showing up. That is extremely critical particularly in a seller's market where the houses sell in 2 days (at least here in the free state of Florida). Second, she was able to setup on a moments notice showings that accommodated our schedule. Any question we had to the seller or request for association documents or seller disclosure she was able to get immediately. From a personality point of view, I like very much the fact that Arlene has a very calm and optimistic personality. She is someone who would not over react or panic particularly in this crazy market. Additionally she is very receptive to input and eager to learn new things. For example I did not want to get a property to close to high voltage power lines (300,000 V or more) due to potential health issues cause by exposure to high magnetic fields, and Arlene totally understood the concerns once I explained what the issue was. Last but not least, many realtors want you to sign an agreement with them. We never did that because she trusted that we are people of our word, and that is not common in today's real estate business. I strongly recommend Arlene to anyone looking to buy a house, and I will for sure continue to pass her credentials and contact info to anyone that I know.

Arlene Buckmaster made buying a home stress free in this crazy market. From the initial phone conversation to closing, she listened to our wants/needs and followed through with everything she said she would. We moved from out of state and didn’t know anyone in the area we chose to buy in. Arlene is very knowledgeable about the area and surrounding areas. She was always available to show us properties that she found for us or ones that we found and were interested in. We saw about 50 properties that were just ok and she completely understood and encouraged us not to settle and was never frustrated with us. Then we found THE house! She went above and beyond by making sure we stayed on track with the closing process and that all the details were covered. We had to fly back to our original state for the Holidays during the final walk-thru and she made herself available to do it for us while filming everything! Arlene was incredibly reliable, knowledgeable, honest, and responsive. It is extremely easy for us to write this and say that Arlene exceeded our expectations on every front and we are beyond HAPPY with our purchasing experience. It was truly a breath of fresh air to do business with someone of Arlene's caliber and we will use her for our future needs moving forward as well.

She went above and beyond my expectations of what a realtor can do for you.
