This is the third time Arrick has assisted us with closing on a property and this purchase was our first as an investment property. We have high expectations of Arrick due to our prior experiences and he always exceeds expectations. The benefits we get working with Arrick are:

Arrick helped my wife and I to navigate a very competitive and fast-moving housing market in early 2022. Homes were being sold within a few days of being listed, and almost always there were (sometimes many) multiple offers. Keeping the situation in mind, he worked quickly with us to see homes as soon as possible, and since we didn’t have time to see places more than once he was great about pointing out potential concerns or issues (structural, maintenance/upkeep related, etc.) to help us assess quickly. Arrick also moved quickly when we wanted to make offers and suggested good strategies to try and make our bid as attractive as possible. At the same time, he also respected our limits regarding what we were—and were not—willing to do for offers and negotiations. With his help, we were able to purchase a wonderful home just two and a half months after we began looking!

It is difficult to put into words what a wonderful experience I had working with Arrick Pelton. Working on selling your childhood home in the middle of a lockdown due to a global pandemic is not without its challenges. Every step of the way, Arrick was able to provide clear evaluations, support, resources, and answers that made this process easier and more successful than I had anticipated. From thoughtful recommendations to home repair and upgrades, to a litany of great vendors to carry them out at reasonable prices. Arrick is extremely knowledgeable of the ins and outs of buying and selling, and he’s overall the best realtor I’ve worked with. In addition to the usual problems that can arise while selling one property and buying another, he was so patient with all the complications that both the current pandemic and having a senior client (selling my mom’s condo) who is in need of a little extra physical and cognitive support. He also went out of his way to assist when things weren’t quite lining up at the close of both properties, and his efforts ultimately ensured that all went well in the end. I am immensely grateful for Arrick and the support he and his team provided for my family and me.

Aarick was our realtor when we decided to sell our home in Elmwood Park. We are so happy we went with him. He really helped us with pricing it just right in a market where all available comps were not that comparable. We got very close to our asking price. He is an expert negotiator and worked tirelessly for us. Aarick is very responsive and involved throughout the entire process. Our entire experience with him was fantastic.
