About Ashley
Born and raised in the Black Hills, Ashley Handcock has a deep-rooted passion for real estate and building long-lasting relationships. Her early experience working in the family auto tint business taught her the value of customer service, while growing up as the middle child of three instilled in her the importance of family—and a good sense of humor.
She carried those lessons into college, where she earned a degree in Business Management and Marketing along with a certificate in Bookkeeping. Her early professional career includes six years as an Escrow Assistant at First American Title and nearly eight years as a Closing Specialist at Farm Credit Services of America. This behind-the-scenes knowledge laid the foundation for a well-rounded real estate career built on experience, trust, and attention to detail.
Since becoming licensed in 2020, Ashley has helped over 170 families buy or sell homes throughout Rapid City and the Black Hills. She averages 35 transactions annually and works with a wide range of clients, including first-time buyers, move-up buyers, and individuals relocating to and from the area. Her calm approach, strong communication, and solutions-focused mindset make her a valued guide through any market.
Ashley holds multiple real estate designations and certifications, including ABR, CRS, SRS, PSA, AHWD, e-PRO, and C2EX, along with a South Dakota Broker License. She has served on her local board of directors and multiple committees and is currently in her second year of a three-year term as a State Director for the South Dakota Association of REALTORS®. We heard amazing things from friends about Ashley and the work she has done for them, so when we decided to look into listing our house for sale we knew we would go with her. It was the best decision we could have made. We went into the selling process not really knowing what to expect and with a lot of anxiety about the work needed to make it happen. Well a couple weeks after her initial meet with us, our house was up for sale and less than 24 hours after that, we had a buyer! Ashley made the process so easy for us from start to finish. We didn’t have to do much of anything, she literally did it all, from her driving to our house for things we missed on paperwork to her setting up local handymen to fix things on our house. She truly is a blessing and I recommend anyone looking to buy or sell go with this sweet lady! When we are ready to buy again in a couple years, Ashley will be our choice! Thank you Ashley!!!

Ashley has helped us twice now in less than two years for two very different situations. First, she helped my brother and I go halvsies on a home for our families. Then, she helped my wife and I through the entire building process from selecting our plot to closing. From start to finish, she was the best.
