As a first-time buyer, I really had no idea what to expect. Ashton had been so wonderful from our first virtual consult to settlement yesterday. She took the time to walk me through the whole process, as overwhelming as it was at times, translate everything into terms that made sense and answer all my questions (so many questions!!!). Ashton was able to talk me through what we were seeing in each house, any red flags in a house, and the cost of any repairs or upgrades that may be needed so I could factor those into decision making. You can tell Ashton is really good at what she does and really loves it! She can even tell the year of HVAC by the sticker, even if theres no dates on it. Ashton knows just what tweaks to make so your offer is competitive, which is what you need in this insane market, she helped me make a strong enough offer to beat out 11 others with an hours notice. I also love that she works with a team of strong independent women who help fill in when needed (shoutout to Sophie). If you are looking for a fantastic realtor, who is easy to work with, Ashton is your gal!

Ashton was recommended to me by friends who she helped move last year - and I'm so glad she was. I was buying my first home - a daunting prospect, especially in the current economy. Ashton made the process as clear and low-stress as possible. She made sure I understood every step as we went through and was always available to answer questions. She really got to know me and what I wanted in a place, and she was also endlessly patient with my changing list of requirements and the fact that I didn't like anything - until I did and absolutely fell in love with the condo I ended up buying. She's incredibly knowledgeable about what to look for - how to gauge a location, the age of systems so you can predict expenses, etc. I'm glad I had someone who was so clearly on my side. And I found the perfect place! Can't recommend her highly enough.

We are so thankful for Ashton not just for helping us get our home, but for everything she’s done in between. I originally found Ashton through her fantastic, educational home buying videos she made on social media in 2020 when everything was questionable and we didn’t know if we were ready to buy. Ashton sent us homes that fit our criteria and checked in with us every now and then until we were ready. Once we were ready, she made the process so seamless for us because of her hard work. Ashton stayed patient with us and never pushed us into something we didn’t want. Ever since our offer was accepted for our home, we continue to get updates from her and check ins from time to time. Ashton truly went above and beyond for us and I know she has for her other clients as well. When it’s time to sell our home in the future we know we will reach out to Ashton first!

My family and I met Ashton at a time when we were ready to move out of our Canton rowhome, but were having a hard time selling. Ashton was running an open house that I attended and her rigorous follow through after the open house caught my attention. I knew that I needed someone with her tenacity and work ethic to sell our home. As Ashton signed on as both our listing and buying agent, we were the most indecisive clients ever. Do we sell? Do we rent? Where do we want to move? Ashton was not only professional and hardworking, but she was always a listening ear and a voice of reason while we were navigating these decisions. Ashton found several renters for our Canton rowhome for us to pick from and led our search for a larger, family home in all the surrounding counties in Baltimore. She put up with our requests to see homes from Annapolis, Severna Park, Towson, and Baltimore City and always came through with an organized day of showings where she also helped watch our kids (ages 1 and 3) so that we could really view a home. Ashton also helped us navigate tight timelines as we signed the rental agreement for our Canton rowhome in the summer of 2020 and needed to move by October 2020. I don’t think we could have survived this process without Ashton’s organization, guiding force, and personal care. It felt like Ashton became a part of our family at that time. We have Ashton to thank for renting our Canton home, finding us our family home in Bellona-Gittings, and ultimately selling our Canton home after one year of renting. All of this while we were in the midst of a pandemic and a crazy market. However, I never saw Ashton’s attentiveness to our needs or professionalism waiver. Additionally, after all was said and done, we still hear from Ashton on a regular basis with newsletters, check-ins, and personal deliveries during the holidays of pies and gifts. Ashton will always be my first call when it comes to anything house-related and I recommend her to anyone who is in the home buying or selling process.

Ashton came recommended to us by a family member's realtor, and we feel very lucky to have found her. Ashton was incredibly helpful at guiding us through every step of buying our first home. She is very organized, diligent, and knowledgeable. We felt that we were in good hands from our first meeting with her, and after our offer was accepted on a fixer upper, she helped us connect with home repair professionals to understand what we were getting ourselves into and put our minds at ease (she even met them at the property to get an estimate for us when we were unable to make the appointment). I can't recommend Ashton any higher. My husband and met her about 6 months ago (I think, COVID has made time meaningless) when we started casually looking to buy our first home. She was listed as the agent on a property we were looking at so we reached out. From the very first email she was responsive and super helpful, but at the same time she wasn't pushy and didn't bombard us with emails.

When it came time to start looking at properties, I was amazed at how Ashton would point out potential issues to consider (heating is XXX years old, roof might need a silver coat, etc) and it truly felt like she wanted to sell us our perfect house, and not just the first house we were interested in to made a quick buck. It felt like she was in our corner protecting us from unscrupulous sellers or agents. Throughout the actual buying process she was super helpful, always answering any questions we had and communicating issues to the seller and even got us a credit on some of the issues we had identified during the inspection.

All in all I'm really happy we found that initial listing and met Ashton. We've referred all our friends to her, and if we buy again she's the first person we're turning to.

My husband and I initially met Ashton when we were considering renting her home before we made the decision to buy—we’re so glad things worked out the way we did because we found our dream home, all thanks to Ashton! As first-time home buyers, Ashton shared her knowledge and expertise (as well as a lot of patience and quick responsiveness in answering all our questions!) so we always knew what to expect and were empowered in our decision-making. She was able to leverage her connections to our advantage and was also extremely timely and proactive throughout the whole buying process, which was particularly helpful for us as buyers in the current market.
