Aune loves the Emerald City and the beautiful Northwest. An urban hike through the lovely town, its diverse neighborhoods, the zillion little coffee shops, eateries, and fun places to hang out give her the same pleasure as a tranquil hike, a snowshoe adventure, or summiting one of the many peaks in the Cascade mountains. It is the never-ending possibilities of a good life that kept her family here after arriving in Seattle in the fall of 1992 from Germany. So yes, she is not a native, but her friends acknowledge they could not tell the difference. Besides her love for nature and the urban environment, she rides her bike on many local gravel roads with her husband, teammates, and friends slowly learning how to take advantage of her yard, being a beekeeper, wondering in awe how her two amazing adult children shape their lives and help sell & buy gorgeous homes for nice people.
She has been a realtor since 1997 and works at Lake & Company, the largest, most productive independent real estate company in town. Over the years she has helped sellers and buyers from many diverse backgrounds accomplish their goals and dreams. It is teamwork, education, knowledge, and trust which lead to success. Through continuing education, and conversations with her fellow real estate friends, coworkers, and industry leaders, she is constantly bettering and adjusting her skills to the ever-changing real estate market. As a full-time broker being on the pulse of our current housing market will help her sellers reach the best return on their investment and her buyers get into their dream homes.
