Avendui Lacovara

Avendui grew up in and around Baltimore City, with family homes in the neighborhoods of Cedarcroft and Bolton Hill. Following her graduation from Bryn Mawr, Avendui made her way to New York to study Studio Art and Art History at NYU. After several years curating corporate art collections for private collectors and Fortune 500 companies, including AIG, Hearst Corporation, Bankers Trust, Bear Sterns, and Bank of New York, she made her way home to Baltimore to start a family with her husband, Andrew, in 1996.

Avendui immediately entered the Baltimore art scene working with the Gomez Gallery and assisting with collection installations at the Waterfront Marriott. Her transition into real estate occurred naturally in 2001 and has been emblematic of her love and passion for art. Just as she facilitated the acquisition of exclusive works of art for billion dollar companies, Avendui excels at pairing discerning buyers with homes that match their lifestyles and interests.

As group leader, she guides the team with strategic partnering and commercializing remarkable properties. Avendui and her husband, Andrew, enjoy living in Bolton Hill where they raised their two sons, Andrew Cole and William Dexter. Avendui can be found enjoying date nights shouting with her husband at a CAPs home game, enjoying evenings at the BMA, reading a good book, and attending church.
