Marcie has always followed her entrepreneurial bent and found ways to blend her passion for art with commerce. She began working for Christie's Auction House and then, a private NYC Art dealer, before she struck out on her own to deal primarily in 19th and 20th century European art.
Later on, while studying painting in France, she developed an interest in antique furniture which she parlayed into an export business and which evolved to include dealing in antique jewelry and textiles as well. She spent several years scouring the French countryside for the best pieces and sold them to stores such as Ralph Lauren and Barneys.
Back in NY, she and her husband were drawn to the beauty and European feel of Brownstone Brooklyn, and it was from their Park Slope abode that they teamed up to launch a successful gift and housewares design business.
Now a multiple property owner herself, the last decade has seen Marcie move from the purchase of her own family home in Ditmas Park to being involved in the purchase, gut renovation, design and sale of additional buildings in Park Slope and vicinity.
She brings to her customers the same zeal and detail-oriented attention that she has brought to all the ventures of her life. From researching potential properties for a client, to sharing her knowledge of local schools, to staging a listing for sale, or helping to resolve a sticky situation between a buyer and seller, Marcie's broad experience and open and friendly nature makes her a favorite realtor choice for a growing number of satisfied clients.
