I live and work in Sonora, in the heart of the California - Mother Lode, in Gold Country! My husband and I enjoy the simple life and consider ourselves blessed to have been raised in an area so rich and abundant in natural beauty. We live on the same land his family settled on when they came to the area in the 1800s. I am proud to say my grandchildren are the sixth generation of Barendregts here in Tuolumne County. As a lifelong resident, to say I know the area, the people and the culture is an understatement. I grew up in a real estate family and have worked in and around the real estate business for 35+ years. This foundation has given me vast experience in the real estate industry including real estate marketing and sales, property management, title and escrow, mortgage loan origination, real estate law, probate law, quality assurance management over resort sales and marketing and owner/broker of an independent real estate brokerage. All of this has taught me how to effectively negotiate and strategize during all types of transactions. But I don't call it the "real estate" business. I call it the "people" business.
