I have been through both the buying and selling process a few times, some of those were with Barbara in the past. This last experience of selling our home was as painless as it could have possibly been! She has done so much great work with her company! She started the process sitting down with us and explaining how she is setting herself apart from other reality companies. Some of the things I really loved was that she had someone come in and help us get a better understanding of ways to stage the house to better appeal to potential home buyers. Everything from home décor to lighting and minor cleaning things that some people may typically overlook. After the home was staged, her team came in and took great pictures that presented so well online. Next, she recommended that we get an inspection ahead of time so that we can get a jump start on any repairs so that way later down the road we weren’t having to rush to get someone in to make repairs before closing. This was a HUGE help! Not only were we able to get several deficiencies fixed she also constructed a buyers workbook that included our inspection report! This was given to the buyers during the tours, and they were able to see exactly what the report said and what we had already taken care of. I truly feel like this made a major impact on how quickly our home sold. From the moment we listed the house we had scheduled bookings one after the other. We were able to go under contract within 24 hours of the initial listing. This was great for us since we were trying to sell quickly due to purchasing another home. We had previously listed the home with another Lawton reality company the year prior and after months of being on the market we had not had a single offer. After going under contract everything went smoothly. We were able to get our full asking price, which was higher than we asked when we previously listed, and no closing costs! Honestly, all of the work that she put in prior to listing our home made the selling process of the home as easy and stress free as possible. When she says she truly cares about her clients she absolutely means it! I am so grateful for Barbara and her entire team. I found a property listed by Barbara and was so glad I was able to do business with her. She was prompt and very professional. When we first met, she wanted to make sure I was aware of any potential issues with the house.

When some delays arose for the closing, she was quick to stay in communication. She made sure I knew what was going on at all times.

When the time came to do the walk-through and hand over the keys, she was so great. Even her husband came and worked on my mower to help out. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

She sold 2 pieces of property for us and made both painless. She definitely put in the extra work to help me, I don't live locally, and she took care of everything we needed done. Her ability to remain patient even when the frustration was settling in and potential buyers were apparently having remorse during the process. Despite very mixed emotions during the original purchase and sale of the property this realtor stuck through it. Got it sold above asking. Realtor has excellent experience, connections, and knowledge to help you buy or sell. Dedicated to getting that top dollar for at closing. It’s not so much the transaction you have to worry about though, it’s your own needs and wants you will want to properly evaluate before moving forward with your transaction. This realtor will help iron out the wrinkles on either end, help you find what you want as a buyer at a price you can afford, or combat over zealous buyers fleecing the pocketbook of you the seller. Stays optimistic through the entire process, even when the process becomes a living nightmare for everyone involved. I’ve seen her apply this same dedication to other clients. She will apply the same dedication to you and your wants and needs. Flexible to work around your schedule while using available technologies to streamline your sale or purchase. 5-star realtor for the area.

As a side note caution should be exercised for your inspectors and appraisers in the area. Have not had positive experiences with any of them.

Barbara and her team (Jana) were absolutely fabulous! We came down for a weekend to look at houses and she was able to show us many many houses and then when we made an offer on a house and it didn’t quite workout but she worked very hard to find us more houses and was able to video chat us tours. She hoped on the house we bought within the day and we were one of the many offers on this house but because of her team and their diligent work we were able to have our offer accepted, all of our inspections completed and everything was very smooth while we lived in Kansas. She also stayed with us the entire process all the way to sitting with me at the title company. As a military family, my wife and I have been blessed to work with amazing agents in the past, but none were more professional, courteous, and generous than Barbara Clark!!!! Although we ultimately decided not buy due to the aggressive interest rates in the market right now, Barbara went above and beyond to host my wife while she was in town house hunting. 6 years ago, my husband and I were in need of finding a new place to live. I had just started staying at home with our 11-month-old daughter and we couldn’t afford our rent anymore. We never thought we would be able to afford to buy a house. We came across Barbara Clark’s name and number and decided to give her a call to look at a house we saw. As first-time home buyers we were overwhelmed and didn’t know exactly what went into buying a home. Barbara was very patient and walked us through the entire process. She sat down and ran numbers with us and was so willing to answer any questions we had. We bought a house about a month later and everything went so smoothly.
In late February 2023 our family had grown to a family of 5 and we began feeling like we could use more space. That’s when we gave Barbara a call to look at options. After looking at about 8 houses we hadn’t found anything we loved. One day Barbara called us and said she found our house. We looked at pictures and fell in LOVE! When we went and looked at the house the next day, we realized we wanted to do everything we could to make that house our new home. Barbara went above and beyond to get us our dream home.

Barbara was awesome in our home buying experience. She was able to answer all of our questions and kind of dumb down a lot of the stuff I had questions about. She was extremely patient when it came to looking at houses and was perfectly fine with going anywhere to look at a house. And while we were looking at a house she knew things to look for her self, that may suggest major problems, so that way you weren’t going to try to get into something that would cost you down the line. She also has been Oklahoma for a while and it shows, she knows a lot about the neighborhoods and what happens in them. When it came to making an offer and starting the buying process, you kind of just take your hands off, she schedules everything for you and she ask you when your free and the inspections and walk threw and stuff like that just happen, she never let me down when we had a question during the actual buying process, and she had great recommendations for everything, from HVAC technicians to home owners insurance agents. So long story short, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about her and my buying experience. I tried working with other agents before I was referred to her and she’s extremely motivated and actually cares in comparison to any other real estate agent I had worked with previously. If I’m ever in the market to buy another house, there’s no chance I’m calling anyone other than her.

My wife and I recently used Barbara to purchase some land to build a house on. From the initial meeting up to the closing, she handled everything for us and was always in communication with us, the bank, & the seller. She helped us out greatly with negotiating with the seller and anytime we had difficulties with getting information from the bank. Buying a home during regular times can be downright stressful. In today’s crazy market it’s even worse! From the very beginning Barbara hit the ground running looking for the perfect house that fit our family’s needs. We were over six hours away and never once doubted her abilities. Barbara was able to move quick enough in this market to get to homes, film them, and give us all the details so that we could make decisions from hundreds of miles away. We had all the confidence in the world when she told us she found the house for us! She also went above and beyond to ensure the house was move in ready when the time came!

We had business with Barbara both during the buying and selling our property, and she worked above and beyond every time. She dealt with the house repair since we stayed out-of-state and even got her family to help in the repairs and landscaping. She lets you understand the process and give suggestions to lighten the burden (financially) especially on the repairs. I remember calling her dealing with the appliance delivery while trying to hurry because a storm was coming and not only that, she made sure as well that the outside pipes were covered when the temperature went down below zero. Tiny details but shows how passionate she is in every project or dealings she has on. My family really appreciates all the help she did for us and her family and I highly recommend her either you are buying your next home sweet home or selling your property. In today’s market, you need to be one of the first, if not the first person to see a house. There’s no waiting around until it’s convenient. Otherwise, that dream house will be sold, and you’ll be stuck with the leftovers. You need to quickly see it, make a decision, and get a strong offer in immediately. Barbara understands this and will be there when you need her. She has the experience, expertise, knowledge of the local area, and does not try to push you into a house that is not right for you. However, when you give her clear buying signals, she knows it’s time to get to work! When you find the right house, you’ll know right away. There’s no need or time to think it over. I made my decision on the spot, and she had the offer in within an hour or so. To buy a house these days, you need someone who’s going to drop whatever they’re doing and be there for you. She explained the entire process and what was happening so that we knew step for step what was going on. All we had to do was fill out paperwork and tell her what we wanted and she made it happen.I was deployed at the time so this was a huge help. Then when we had to move 4 years later she helped us sell our house. Once again she took care of everything as I moved across the country. I recently moved to Lawton. I tried to purchase a home from across the country before I moved here. But it was a epic failure. Barbara did a outstanding and exceptional job and definitely made up for my previous failure dealing with a previous house. She was on top of all my needs. After a month of trying to find a realtor that understand our needs and conditions, and having nothing to show for it, I called Barbara. I accomplished more with her in a 10 minute conversation than I had with other realtors in the area in weeks.

Barbara's knowledge of the area, community and military lifestyle was instrumental in finding our perfect home. Her knowledge as a realtor was extremely helpful as a first time homebuyer. She always had our best interest in mind, worked through all of the crazy roadblocks we encountered due to COVID with us and even communicated with our loan processor to ensure we got exactly what we needed done. Her guidance and suggestions on what to include and ask for in our sales contract ensured that we got the most out of our purchase; I would not have got what I ended up with without her help! She didn't disappear once her check came in either and ensured that we got settled in and were happy with our purchase after-the-fact.
