About Barbara

Like so many of her Florida neighbors, Barbara Mills is a Northeast transplant. Growing up just outside of New York City, Barbara made her way to Orlando in 1985 as a Navy wife after military stops in California and New York.

As a full-time realtor since 1997, she consistently produces multimillion dollar sales volume every year. Barbara is a Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Agent and a member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. As an Institute member, she is part of an international network of real estate professionals who specialize in the luxury market.

Throughout her career, Barbara has assisted buyers and sellers from Deland to Poinciana and Clermont to Christmas. It is her belief that having her finger on the pulse of all Central Florida areas allows her to be immediately positioned to best address the needs of buyers who are relocating from outside of the areas. From a selling standpoint, it is critical to understand what is making one area a current hot spot compared to others, which affects home values. Staying on top of current and future building developments, roadway projects, and school building and rezoning enables Barbara to be a valued resource and consultant to both buyers and sellers.

Barbara has maneuvered through all types of markets from the normal historically constant home value appreciation to the runaway serge of values as well as the real estate market crash and recovery. Whether her client is a first-time homebuyer, a Fortune 500 executive, a baby boomer, or an estate trustee, Barbara brings her vast experience to everyone she works with.

When not selling homes or assisting buyers, Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, giving her time to charitable causes, and supporting the YMCA. She believes opportunities to learn never end, and she continues to embrace educational advancements in digital marketing and technology.

She has served on the Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida and Orlando Walk for Wishes Committee, and she has been instrumental in the Coldwell Banker Cares Foundation support of the Walk for Wishes. Under Barbara's leadership, the Coldwell Banker Team has over $40,000 to provide wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses.

Barbara is active in the Coldwell Banker Cares Foundation, which inspires fellow Coldwell Banker agents to support their communities' charitable causes by way of financial and hands-on support.
