In 2005, after a career in retail management, I decided to get my real estate license. I was lucky to have several experienced agents at my first brokerage who kindly acted as mentors to me during those first scary months of my new career. I jumped right in and had a fantastic first year. And then the market stalled. While still working with buyers and sellers here and there, I soaked in as much education from my mentors and classes as I could. I still take every opportunity to further my real estate education with classroom and online courses. I am proud to say that in 2010, I earned my Associate Broker’s License.
I am a proud military brat and was born on an Air Force base in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Yes, that officially makes me a Yooper! My father got orders in 1982 and we moved to Louisiana and then to Montgomery, Alabama after that. After finishing school, in 1997 I moved to South Georgia and relocated to the Atlanta area one year later. I’ve lived in Marietta, Doraville, Milton and Woodstock. Since getting my real estate license, I have sold in many communities inside the perimeter (Midtown, VaHi, Intown, Druid Hills, Chastain), but mostly I have worked with buyers and sellers in North Fulton, Cherokee and South Forsyth Counties.
I currently reside in Woodstock and have enjoyed watching our Downtown Woodstock blossom into a true community center. New restaurants, shops and businesses are popping up all the time. There are beautiful new home construction projects happening and people are moving here every day to enjoy a great quality of life.
Beyond my real estate career, I am a wife to an amazing man and “mom” to two beautiful English Mastiffs, Bella and Bruno. I enjoy photography, gardening and cooking and may be just a little crazy about all things with feathers or four legs.
