About Barbara
BARBARA—21 Years in Real Estate
Before real estate, I was a paralegal with a top real estate attorney in Tucson. There’s not much about a contract I do not know! In 2003 I earned my sales license, and then my Broker’s License. Community and professional service is important to me. In 2017 I joined a team from my church to build a home in Puerto Peñasco (also known as Rocky Point), a seaside town in the Mexican state of Sonora. I’ve worked with Habitat for Humanity, the Red Cross, and charitable projects of the Tucson Association of REALTORS®. My professional service for local, state, and national associations is as President of the State of Arizona Residential Real Estate Council. Past President of the Tucson Association of REALTORS® and the Tucson Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors®. Past Chair of the Arizona Association of REALTORS® Professional and Business Development, the National Association of REALTORS® Large Board Forum, and Tucson Association of REALTORS® Education Committee. I am patient, hard-working, knowledgeable, and an excellent listener and negotiator. Bringing joy to our clients by helping them sell and/or find that special home is tremendously rewarding. Every transaction, and every client, gets our best work. We work with both buyers and sellers. Our niche market is luxury, historic homes, second-home buyers, active adult, and relocation.
MONTY
I was born and raised in Northern California. I spent 50 years growing up, living, and working in the City of Benicia where I also raised a family. I have two sons; one son resides in the Bay Area, while my other son currently lives in Arizona. I love coaching Little League and youth basketball. I spent 23 years of my adult life working in Law Enforcement. Benicia Police Department was my first agency and St. Helena Police Department was my second agency where I retired as the Police Chief.
I have a Bachelor of Art's Degree in Business Management and a Master of Art's Degree in Leadership from St. Mary's College of California. My hobbies consist of golfing, riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle, and running/working out. I look forward to working closely with the community.
