Benoit Rochard

He has extensive experience overseeing acquisitions, asset management, financing and investor relations. Having been involved in hundreds of transactions, Benoit has navigated complex situations and is well-positioned to assist clients in finding solutions that are best for them.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Benoit led the investments team at GVA — a multifamily owner operator based in Austin — overseeing more than 150 transactions (acquisitions, refinances, dispositions, recapitalizations) and approximately $1 billion of equity raised. He joined GVA after being head of real estate at Sonder and prior to serving as vice president of acquisitions at CFH Investment Partners.

In his career, Benoit has led the acquisition of more than 26,000 multifamily units throughout the United States and raised over $1.25 billion of equity. Benoit has been in commercial real estate since 2011, starting as an analyst and working his way up through acquisitions roles to CIO a decade later. Having resided in Texas for more than 25 years, Benoit’s knowledge of the state and its contacts are well established.
