Berneicea “Bee” Worrell, principal broker owner of Hawaii Premier Homes, LLC, is the first African-American woman to start a Real Estate Brokerage Firm and Property Management Company in Hawaii.
Bee began her real estate journey in 2003 with Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties on the mainland and continued her work there in 2005 in Hawaii in the Kahala Office which introduced her to Hawaii’s ever changing real estate market. After 10 years with Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, she stepped out on faith and started Hawaii Premier Homes, LLC with the support of her colleagues and community members, the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated.
With Hawaii Premier Homes, LLC, Bee helps her clients maintain their properties, prepare their homes for showings, and screen potential tenants. She also helps clients manage their property investments. Instead of referring clients to someone else for property management, she established a real estate company that does it all! Offering Premier Service to Premier Clients is a team effort.
Her team has successfully closed 100% of their Short Sales in Hawaii since 2005. Her team includes two sharp and skillful Business Associates, Jay Brown and Anita Motte, who share her vision of well-rounded service and commitment to excellence.
Bee lives in Ala Moana with a beautiful view of the ocean where she enjoys swimming at the beach, boogie boarding, and relaxing with friends and sorority sisters.
“So often I would work with buyers, looking for that special property that they could rent to someone for a few years. North, south, east, and west, we would look all over this island. I help people purchase and sell island-wide, so we would literally look everywhere. Once we found the perfect property, I would negotiate the contract, we would close the transaction, and I would send them on their way.” She added, “I wanted to offer more support, but legally, I was bound.”
