Bernice Halaas

Hi! Everyone calls me Berni, and I look forward to helping you with your purchase or sale!

My husband, Randy Weiher, and I opened New Century Real Estate’s office in Sauk Rapids in 2006 when we moved to central Minnesota.

I stepped into the Real Estate arena in 1987 when I began working in the mortgage industry. I was licensed as a REALTOR® in 1988 and worked in the Minnetonka and West Metro areas of Minneapolis. My passion for creativity and problem solving combined with the desire to create safe, warm, and inviting spaces led me to Century College where I completed the Interior Design program. In addition, I also graduated with a BA in Business Management, and a minor in Economics and Psychology, from Augsburg College.

My experience in real estate, the construction industry, interior design, and mortgage fields, enable me to work effectively through any real estate issue and communicate with my clients so they fully understand all aspects of the home buying and home selling process.

My husband and I love helping others, and we enjoy our family, which includes four adult children and ten fantastic grandchildren.
