Bert has been in the Real Estate business since 1984, obtaining his license at the age of 20. After working at a small office, and eventually owning and operating that office for six years, he joined Independent Real Estate Brokers in 1995. Throughout this time, he has seen many fluctuations in the real estate market, and have learned how to deal with and read the ever-changing economy.
Bert has over 37 years of experience representing both buyers and sellers in transactions involving residential, commercial and investments properties throughout the Bay Area. In Alameda County, he has been one of the top-producing agents for Independent Real Estate Brokers for the past 25 years and have received the Grand Masters Award for Productivity from the Bay East Association of Realtors several times. Bert speaks Spanish, and can work with a diverse group of people, be it ethnic, age or income related.
As your real estate agent, Bert will commit to you to act as your full time agent, evaluating your property, providing marketing and exposure, and educating and advising you through the process. He believes that communication is key in an agent/client partnership and he will work to inform you of changes in the market as well as provide you with feedback and review marketing strategies. Of course, he will represent you in all aspects of the sale which includes finding qualified buyers, negotiating and closing escrow successfully
