Born and raised in Smithville, Tennessee, Betsy Smith has deep roots in the community she proudly serves. Before entering real estate, Betsy spent years as a traveling sales representative in the electronics and home furniture industry. While handling her mother’s estate, she discovered her true passion—and in 2016, she became a licensed Realtor. Since then, she has worked full-time with Town & Lake Realty, helping clients buy and sell homes with dedication and care.
Growing up with a father who was a professional bass fisherman, Betsy developed a love for Center Hill Lake and the lifestyle it offers. Today, she specializes in lake homes, waterfront property, and resort-style living, while also guiding clients through residential sales, farms, timber tracts, and investment properties. Her commitment to continued education has earned her multiple certifications, giving her clients confidence that they are in knowledgeable hands whether buying their first home or a second property.
Betsy’s service goes beyond real estate. She is actively involved in her community, from feeding the homeless and serving meals during the holidays to sponsoring pet adoptions at the local animal shelter. An animal lover at heart, all of her own “fur babies” are rescues.
When she isn’t working with clients, Betsy enjoys life on her small Tennessee farm with her husband, where they soak up the natural beauty of the state. Family is her greatest joy—she cherishes time with their two sons, daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren. She is also deeply committed to her church and church family, finding purpose in faith, service, and community.
