We had an extremely positive experience working with Betsy in purchasing our home. She was knowledgeable of the market and helped in getting to know neighborhoods we were not familiar with. When we found a property Betsy provided insight and recommendations about the property. She was also helpful in offering recommendations for contractors to do any renovations.

Her team was also very helpful in making the closing go smoothly.

We used the Team of Betsy Wotherspoon [Berkshire Hathaway] to list/sell our home in Wexford in the spring of 2022. We initially interviewed several agents, and decided to go with Betsy because of her years of experience, her knowledge of the market, and her calm yet firm approach to selling our home. We were not disappointed: we found her entire team to be professional, thorough, timely and effective in dealing with various challenges that arose during this process. The numbers speak for themselves: there were 35 viewings (over a three day period) and we received 8 offers for the purchase of our home - all of which were above the listed selling price. In our final selection, Betsy provided us with valuable input to address our particular concerns and to maximize the net proceeds realized. Great service from Betsy's team from the listing through the sale. Betsy was extremely responsive with answering our questions and working through several offers before eventually settling on one that was acceptable. Betsy clearly laid out clear alternatives without no pressure on all decisions that needed to be made throughout the sale. Keri Ann and team assisted with issues of which we encountered with other parties and ensured an on time closing. I was coming from out of state, with a complicated situation, and needed to buy a home without being here. Betsy made it possible and easy and frankly, when I saw the house for real, it was better than I thought! I also needed a lot of guidance and a fair amount of hand holding, and she was there every step of the way.

I can’t recommend her enough, and all the member of my family, who recommended her, couldn’t recommend enough.

The Wotherspoon team, especially agent Teresa Huhn who was our primary contact, went above and beyond for us. We went to about 20 houses before we found the one we bought. They guided us through the entire process, answering all of our questions and helping us though all of our fears. They even managed to get the house closed, working with our mortgage broker, during the first month of the COVID-19 virus business closures and social distancing. We highly recommend them to all.

Taking the time to write a review for The Betsy Wotherspoon Team seems unequivocal to the time, attention, value and skill that they provided us with. My husband and I had loosely been looking for our forever home for about 2 years, me probably 10, but who’s counting…anyhow when we were finally comfortable to list our home and move forward with the process, we were recommended to this top-notch team. I put an inquiry in to the team, via phone call, and received a message machine. Within five minutes my call was returned by Betsy, who was out ill, but wanted to be sure we could get things started right away. That was something!! She sounded awful, not to offend, just her taking that time even when not feeling to well to accommodate us spoke volumes to me. She set us up with her business partner, Jen Rausch. From the get-go, Jen was attentive, punctual and communicative. She is very professional and easy to talk to. What I really love about this team is just that, they are a TEAM and when one person is not available the other is, or Teresa or Barb, which if you’ve ever sold and bought a home you know how valuable that is. When you have any questions, concerns, random thoughts, etc. they are always a text, phone call or email away. My two cents, if you’re even reading this review to scout for potential realtors, I would stop at this one and work with this team!

Betsy and Jen were extremely patient during our 2 year journey to find our home, helping us focus when we became frustrated. It was obvious they weren’t just looking for a quick sale but had our best interests at heart and really wanted to understand what we wanted and help us find it! They always tried to make themselves available and didn’t mind us bringing the kids along! Jen always followed up with us and the sellers/buyers, and quickly so we knew where things stood. Mike Kehoe: "My experience with Betsy Wotherspoon actually dates back 30 years. Back in 1988, she helped my parents find what became my childhood home.

And, last year, when it came time for them to move from that house, they knew where they could turn.

It’s the same place my wife and I went when we were ready to find our first home in the Pittsburgh area — Betsy and her team at Berkshire Hathaway.

We were privileged that we got to work with her associate, Jennifer Rausch, as our agent. We appreciated her expertise and patience, and we trusted her to represent us well. And that she did!

In our first two days with Jen, she took us to roughly ten homes. Not once did we feel pressured to like and consider those houses. And not once did we feel like she was pressuring us or interjecting her input. But when we had a question, Jen was quick to have an answer and when there was something important we may not have noticed, she made sure we saw it.

When my wife and I decided that we needed to put our home search on hold for several months, Jen didn’t push us to be ready to resume our house hunting. Just like our walk throughs, Jen was great at giving us space — allowing us to be on our time, not hers.

Once we resumed our search, Jen was great at helping us get re-acclimated to the market. We weren’t even sure what area of the city we wanted to live in and that was okay with her. I am really impressed with the Wotherspoon team! We recently purchased a vacant foreclosure home, which proved to be extremely difficult (sellers). The team took great care in walking us through the process, making sure we understood each step, and working on our behalf to make sure we received the best deal possible. From a sellers view , I can honestly say that Jen & the whole team made the whole process smooth an easy. Not only did she see that the closing date happened on time, she made sure that funds from the sale were properly dispersed. A last minute water leak , I'm talking on the day of the closing at the final walkthrough..... She got her Plummer ON IT!!!! Professional, approachable, and flexible with the whole process!!!
