About Betty
Betty Shindler’s real estate roots run deep. A native Texan from Crockett, Betty worked side-by-side for 31 years with her late husband, Jim Shindler, in their Houston real estate company. The Shindlers handled residential and commercial properties, property management, and property development. Betty KNOWS Houston and loves every aspect of real estate from assisting buyers to find their dream home to guiding sellers through the process of marketing and selling their home. “My clients become life-long friends,” Betty says, “and that’s one of the nicest parts of this business.”
Betty is experienced, enthusiastic and energetic. She ranks organization and communication as two of her greatest strengths, allowing her to focus on her clients’ goals and to keep them fully informed.
Every day is a gift, according to Betty. She believes in giving back to the Houston community and had been an active supporter of the March of Dimes Foundation, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, The Museum of Fine Arts, The Moores School of Music at the University of Houston, and other philanthropic organizations. Betty is a member of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church.
When not working, Betty, a high-rise condominium resident, spends as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren. She enjoys leisure hours at the beach or in the mountains, exercises, reads, and listens to music.
