Bill was referred to me my Remax agent in my hometown, which I needed to move back to due to my husband's passing. He was very helpful and understanding regarding my situation. He offered suggestions for pricing, but knew I needed to get the most that I could & that I had to coordinate selling & moving very insync to make it work. He was always there to answer questions, always called ya back, etc.
I would diffinately use him if I would ever move back there. Thnx Bill

We first contacted Bill Hays a few years ago and listed our duplex/condos in Baraboo with him. That property had been listed elsewhere in the past and Bill found buyers for both sides. Last fall we had him list our rural Sauk City home of 18 years. We had multiple offers right away with some over asking price. We had a slight hiccup but Bill got the job done. We were able to buy the lot we wanted and are currently building a house in Sauk City. I would highly recommend Bill Hays for all your real estate needs big or small.

We worked with Bill to sell riverfront property that we had owned for several years. Our plans to build a vacation home changed so we wanted to sell. We were very happy with the service we received from Bill and would recommend him to others. He is knowledgeable of the area and property values. He stayed in contact with us keeping us up to date on his efforts. The photos he took for our listing were very impressive (used a drone to photo lot from the water which unless you were on a boat it was not possible to view.)

We contacted Bill, because his name was on the realty sign where we discovered a small cottage and property for sale. I'm not sure which was the luckiest find, the cottage or meeting Bill.
In a location where properties rarely come on the market and land deals are tricky Bill was an amazing conduit between us, the sellers, our bankers, and the local governmental agencies. Due to red tape and appraiser errors we thought the deal wasn't going to happen. After a few days of dealing with our disappointment, Bill called with some ideas of how we and the sellers could get the deal done. Without Bill's efforts, his ability to communicate and thoughtful people management skills, we would not be enjoying our dream getaway near Devil's Lake.
Bill made it possible for both the sellers and the buyers to feel great about the deal we all made.

My wife and I initially chose Bill Hays to sell our rural Wisconsin home, because he comes across as no stranger to the outdoors. He had a comfortable way about him, and he seemed to understand why people appreciate open spaces and the peace and quiet of the country.

That said, I don’t doubt he could sell an in-town house or condo just as effortlessly. He has exactly the right amount of marketing savvy, patience, and common sense and will take the time to answer even the simplest question.

Bill Hays is a true Real Estate Professional. He handled both the sale of our old home and the purchase of a new home. He listened to what we wanted and remained flexible. He was always a text or phone call away and responded promptly to my many questions, and was early or on time for all appointments. Having grown up in the Baraboo area, he knows so much about the history and inhabitants of the area, which made looking at the many houses quite fun. Buying and/or selling a home is stressful but Bill minimized that stress through upfront expectation setting, clear and frequent communication, and providing support every step of the way. We purchased a property in Sauk County while living in North Carolina. Bill not only provided an updated listing of available homes, but also insight on properties from his knowledge of the area. Bill’s experience and exceptional communication skills enabled him to manage a situation with our lender and the title company that would have delayed our closing by over a week. He is very professional and answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. He has excellent follow though when responding to emails/calls and he worked around our busy schedules.
