Bill Popp

Bill Popp lives in Central Minnesota and has been involved with agriculture his entire life at various capacities. Growing up on a dairy farm and being involved as an owner and operator for his first 50+ years is the source and basis of his extensive experience and knowledge of the industry. Following high school he continued his education at North Dakota State University in Agricultural Economics and Business Management at St. Cloud State he was a dairy farmer growing the herd to 1,000 in the milking herd and 120,000 head poultry operation. To support the operation, he farmed 1,200 irrigated acres of corn and alfalfa.

Following his career in farming, he continued his commitment in agriculture by becoming licensed as a real estate agent and eventually a farm and land broker. His involvement includes a broad spectrum of animal and crop farming with an emphasis in dairy and the related supporting crops. Working with foreign interests in acquiring US businesses and farms have been an important part of his real estate career as a broker and consultant. Another important part of his continued dedication in business and agriculture has been his involvement in local economic development, several non-profit organizations, farm organizations and church committees.
