Bill's knowledge and industry experience in home equity lending resulted in his being selected by his peers to serve on a National Home Equity Advisory Board by one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country.
Bill is also a licensed Florida Title Agent and the founder of Jacksonville Title and Trust, LLC. Insuring title to real estate property across Florida, Jacksonville Title and Trust, LLC. was one of the largest title insurance providers in the area in 2005.
Bill obtained a degree in business from the University of North Florida and the University of South Florida. Prior to entering the field of real estate and mortgage finance, Bill was a tennis pro for several years.
Bill co-founded Sharp Mortgages, Inc. in 1997 and co-founded the tennis tournament Serving up a Cure in 2009. Serving up a Cure is a tennis tournament held to raise money for cancer research, cancer treatments and those affected by cancer. Since the tennis tournament began in 2009, there has been almost $325,000 raised and donated to three charities for cancer funding. These charities are the Ellie Kavalieros DIPG Research Fund, the Gabriel House of Care and Community Hospice ad Palliative Care. Bill was selected to lead the Mayo Clinic's Gabriel House of Care as the Co-Chair of the Board of Directors. In 2016, Bill was elected the "Humanitarian of the Year" by the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors for his contribution to our local community and was recognized by the Florida association of Realtors as one of the top 20 most charitable Realtors in Florida. In addition to being licensed as a mortgage lender in Florida, Bill also holds a Florida Real Estate Brokers License, and a Florida Mortgage Brokers License. Bill has been an active member of both the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers, Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
