Bill earned an undergraduate degree in business from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin. At law school, Bill graduated Cum Laude and was a member of the Wisconsin Law Review. Before becoming a Real Estate Broker in Green Bay and founding Symes Realty, Bill worked as an attorney in San Francisco and San Diego at Foley & Lardner, a top international Big Law firm. Bill also worked at Industrial Equities in Minneapolis, an elite commercial real estate development, investment, and management company. Bill also served as a judicial intern for Justice Annette Ziegler at the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Bill has experience with the sale of single-family homes, condominiums, new construction, multi-family properties, vacant land, investment properties, 1031 Exchanges, development projects, foreclosures, and Lambeau Field properties.

Bill was born and raised in Green Bay, but he has lived in Minneapolis, Italy, Ecuador, Argentina, Madison, San Francisco, and San Diego. He returned home to Green Bay in 2012 to be closer to family. Bill enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, training jiu jitsu, playing fastpitch softball, and being outdoors and active. He also helped coach baseball at Bay Port High School for a number of years. Bill and his wife, Silvia, have been together since 2010 and currently live in Howard with their dog, Rosie.
