Bill Wang

Bill grew up in Hangzhou, China and graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park with an MS in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. For many years, he enjoyed a career serving big automotive companies in the Detroit area. Having lived in Michigan for over 20 years and having traveled all over the world, Bill has seen it all and firmly believes that the state of Michigan has much to offer.
After years of IT consulting, Bill successfully provided multi-million-dollar solutions to major automotive companies. Bill draws on his marketing skills in his role as a real estate professional to serve his customers. With an engineering background, Bill helps clients make sound decisions based on real marketing data, and he pays great attention to details. Bill began his real estate career in 2004 as an investor. He started with flipping houses, buying and selling – and has not stopped. He is now a licensed broker and the owner of 1st Michigan Realty. He is also a notary public acting in the State of Michigan.
In his spare time, Bill is a repair person. His hobby is rehabbing homes, especially distressed ones. He owns properties in many cities in the area. Home Depot and Lowe’s are two of his favorite stores. He understands the structure of houses and can make recommendations for remodeling or changing the layout. Currently, he is pursuing his builder’s license.
