About Blake

A native of Greenwich and a father of four, Blake's career as a Realtor has been rooted in the Greenwich residential real estate market since the mid-1990s. As a homeowner, landlord, successful investor and speculative builder, Blake has analyzed Greenwich's residential real estate from many perspectives. “I lived in my first home in Cos Cob while working in New York City until my family out grew it. Because I thought the home was so special I wasn’t eager to sell, so I rented
it to a friend.” From there grew a passion for Greenwich's real estate marketplace and working with clients. Having built, sold and purchased Greenwich homes, both personally and professionally, Blake is unique in his ability to assist his clients as they search for their new home.

“Residential real estate is one of the few industries that combine a person’s heart, emotions and economics. Its the emotional connection with a home that makes my job so wonderful and a joy to work with clients. Whether buying or selling, I never get tired of my client’s
connection with the homes. From the owner sharing their memories as we begin the sales process, to witnessing a change wash over my client as soon as they walk in the front door knowing they just found their next home. It is really a wonderful connection to witness.”

Prior to real estate, Mr. Delany managed the national advertising sales staffs for well know multi-media companies. In addition, he was involved in the marketing and start-up of several consumer and industry specific media. While managing his marketing and sales staff, he could often be heard saying, “Ask questions and listen to your clients. They will tell you what they want and need.”

It is this welcomed philosophy of being dedicated to his client’s needs, his construction and development background and marketing insight coupled with a passion for Greenwich that makes Blake a valued and trusted Realtor.
