About Bob

Bob Lanphier joined PJ Morgan Real Estate in 2009 specializing in commercial sales and leasing, and residential sales. His long-time connection to the community, diverse work experiences and educational background make him a valuable member of the PJ Morgan Real Estate team.

Bob is an Omaha native and worked in the Nebraska telecommunications arena for over thirty-five years, in data systems, product management, and public policy. In 1999, Bob became the Nebraska Director of Public Policy for Qwest Communications, and combined communication skills and marketing expertise to influence and negotiate regulatory, legislative and marketing strategies to assure a market-based approach for telephone, data and cable services in Nebraska.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Creighton University and has performed post-graduate work in business at Creighton and Iowa State Universities. He is a 1994 graduate of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce Leadership Omaha association.

As a commercial and residential sales agent, Bob applies the leadership, marketing and sales abilities he gained from his previous work experience to his day-to-day real estate endeavors. He works to understand each customer’s needs and develops a customized marketing strategy based on his knowledge of the current real estate market.

As an active community member, Bob has been involved in coaching youth, mentoring, and has been on multiple boards and committees for education, community, and business/economic development. Bob served as a member of the Douglas County Planning Commission from 2014 to 2020.
