During a time of profound and overwhelming change, like selling your home, you need Bob Mathai. Bob has the knowledge, patience, and perseverance to complete your buy/sale. Bob has a very gentle, honest delivery. He made us feel comfortable, even peaceful that we were going to get the task done together. Even with the normal ebbs and flows in this process when stress levels can be high, Bob reassured us, kept us on a positive track. Working with Bob was a great experience! From the day we met him at his office to the day we signed for our house he was there to help with every curious wondering and urgent question we had in mind. He was patient throughout the many months we spent looking at houses online and visiting open houses. He really tried to understand the qualities we were looking for in a home and suggested houses for us to look at his own accord. He also helped us find a great team of people who were needed throughout the process of closing on the house, who were also very responsive and easy to work with. Bob is AMAZING! He helped my sister with her Bayside home purchase a couple years back, and she had so much high praises about him. I knew I would call on him to help me with my own purchase when time came... AND voila! I just closed on my new place this past week and everything was so smooth. Let us first say that we are fourth time homeowners. When my wife and I met Bob, we were in a situation where we needed a house immediately. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy since inventory was extremely low and interest rate was skyrocketing. Bob reassured us that everything will be OK but we were skeptical of what he meant. The first thing he did was to connect us to one of the best finance people then we started looking. We moved into a house within less than six months. We know one would say “he was working for his commission”, but we can tell you, he worked his butt off for the money. He never got tired. He always answered to our calls and texts no matter the time. He is always on time for his appointments. He is a real professional. He knows the best people that can help. We could not have asked for more. We had amazing experience.

I met Bob at an open house where he showed me an exclusive listing he had. I ended up buying the place, and Bob definitely played a huge role in getting the deal done. He is genuinely an all around nice guy and knows the real estate business in and out. He even went above and beyond to help me with the application process for the apartment, which he wasn't obligated to do. He represented both me and the seller, and did a fantastic job negotiating the details between both parties without favoring one or the other, and also recommended a great attorney and mortgage broker to help seal the deal. You will not regret it if you do business with him or use him as your agent. He will get the job done.

My wife and I sold our co-op in Queens with assistance from Bob Mathai. When Bob came to the apartment for the initial meeting, he explained in detail the selling process. He displayed an easy manner and an attention to detail. Pictures were taken of the apartment and we parted company with the next step of posting the apartment and pictures on the open listing. Viewing the pictures on line was a total shock; each picture brought out the beauty of the apartment. Through the selling process Bob kept us up to date. Late in 2021, my brothers and I inherited my parents' home, after the death of the life tenant. I called Bob Mathai, who immediately provided me with a marketing analysis and worked with me all through 2022 while we engaged counsel to have the son of the life tenant legally removed, and the lease of the existing tenant expired. On October 1st of 2022, the property became vacant and Bob was able to issue the multiple listing. Bob had collaborated with my brothers and me on an appropriate asking price for the property and a marketing strategy, so we hit the ground running in the beginning of October. The property consisted of a cape cod house on a 70x100 lot, which is unusually large for properties in Bellerose, NY, but the house was is pretty bad shape. Bob got us a buyer who offered within 3% of our asking price and put down a full 10% on contract. As far as we were concerned, the buyer was ideal...a pleasure to deal with and we closed on time for the full purchase price.
I speak on behalf of my brothers and myself in saying we couldn't have had a more cooperative, proactive and honest broker working for us. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

All I can say is I never write internet reviews but it's truly been a pleasure working with Bob on the sale of our home. He is honest, responsive and extremely professional.
