Bobbie King

Originally from Columbus, Georgia, King moved to Venice with her husband, Frank, almost 11 years ago, after taking an early retirement from her position as Executive Director with Verizon Information Services. Having relocated 12 times to nine states during her career with Verizon, she says she has relished the opportunity to settle in and become part of the Venice community. She is active in the Venice First Baptist Church, the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce and Big Brothers Big Sisters, and serves on the board of the United Way of South Sarasota County.

Prior to her career with Verizon, she was a Realtor in Ohio and Illinois. She is a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI).

She and Frank are enjoying this chapter of their lives, spending time boating and entertaining friends and neighbors. She now has six grandchildren in Illinois that she enjoys visiting, but she especially cherishes their visits here, collecting sharks teeth, and indulging in Venice's wonderful local restaurants and shops.
