Bobby entered the real estate business as a sales associate in February, 1980 and became an associate broker later in 1980 while going to college in Harrison at North Arkansas College. He has been broker and owner since March, 1990 and formed Homestead Realty of Harrison, Inc in 1994 and moved the office to its present location. After operating with a Coldwell Banker franchise for 27 years the office became a fully independent real estate brokerage in 2021. Bobby holds the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations and is a past president and director for the local Board of Realtors. Bobby is a native of the Harrison and Boone County area. He and Darlene, have been married for over 40 years and reside on a small farm north of Harrison near Bergman which is the area where he grew up. They have three children and five grandchildren and are active members of Ozark Baptist Church. "Growing up in the Harrison area I did not realize how beautiful the Ozarks were until after I was in the real estate business for a few years and so many people from other areas kept telling me how beautiful it was and how fortunate I was to live here.
