I have been buying and selling homes since 1982. I have been a landlord and I have been a tenant. I have completed the first home buyer program and the Suffolk County down payment assistance program. I completed a home maintenance program offered through the Community Development Corporation. I was able to purchase a home as a single mom, coming back from financial and credit disasters, and was featured in a Newsday article in 2002. I understand real estate from life experiences and also as a professional. Real Estate is my second career as I have been a licensed/board-certified music therapist for 30 years, working in special ed school settings, group homes, and with aging populations. As a Real Estate Broker, I have continued to help special needs families find the right home for them. I have assisted seniors and boomers find the right-sized home for them whether it be a smaller retirement home or an over 55 community, and as well helped many sell the home where they raised their families. I have assisted first-time home buyers to find their dream home, and also helped persons from NYC move “out east” during the recent pandemic.
