Bonnie is absolutely incredible. She knows SO much about real estate and really went above and beyond when we needed to sell our home and (weeks later!) buy another. Bonnie Smith doesn’t like sushi. Sometimes she blames it on an allergy, other times she just defers and says it’s not for her.

I thought I’d get the negatives out of the way and honestly, that’s about it.
Bonnie was referred to us by a longtime friend in the mortgage industry. She was billed as “ THE realtor in Roseville/Rocklin” which is where we were looking for an investment property. We were looking for a specific property that would generate income but also be a good long term investment. The challenge was, we were hoping to land a property in the low price end during a red hot market.
She immediately put together a list of properties and she gave us the run down of each neighborhood and the pros and cons. We quickly landed on a few but bidding wars ensued! She really helped navigate the shifting market and gave advice on how we should negotiate. While we missed a property early in the search, we were all convinced we’d put our best foot forward.
During the process, Bonnie was always available at the drop of a hat. We’d see something on Redfin and she’d arrange to see it asap, and then add a few others we’d missed.
After a couple of weeks, we found the place. It was going on the market over the weekend and we didn’t want a bidding war. On Bonnie’s advice, we put together a strong offer and the seller accepted it without doing the open houses that the seller had proposed.
During the inspection process, she was very thorough, picking up things that I missed and that the inspector hadn’t yet gotten to.
Long story short, we ended up with the most positive experience with a realtor we’ve had over our 12 property buying experiences.
To sum it up, if you’re looking for someone to have sushi with, Bonnie probably ain’t your gal. If you want a professional realtor who knows the market and how to navigate it, Bonnie Smith is who I’d recommend.
