There are hundreds of agents, franchises, and local brands that will provide you with a glossy brochure, a name you know, and make you feel really good during the listing appointment. The question is how you will be feeling 30 days into the listing contract. There is no bar to entry into the real estate business and there are only a small number of agents with the experience and skills to be what you really need, a "knowledge agent." You see, you just don't become a real estate professional by calling yourself one.
