Brad attended St. Mary’s School in Annapolis, the College of Charleston, and the Chapman School of Seamanship in Stuart, Florida. An avid boater, he is an active member and supporter of the Eastport Yacht Club and is involved in many civic and community organizations including the Anne Arundel Medical Center, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Severn River Association and Annapolis Maritime Museum. When he is not pursuing his passion in real estate, he can be found cooking a favorite seafood dish, boating, paddle boarding, playing guitar, or simply enjoying the waterfront lifestyle with his family at their home on the Severn River.

We have bought and sold many properties over the past 30 years, and this home sale was easily the most satisfying experience with a real estate broker in our lifetime. Brad and his Team have mastered the entire selling process, including providing realistic guidance around list price, setting true expectations on market/buyer demand, offering outstanding communication during the entire process, and professional assistance during seller/buyer negotiations. When Brad and his team take on a listing, they are forming a quantifiable business relationship with their customers, you are not just another listing. Even though they mostly serve high-end property owners, they also help with the little things that need attention during the process. They are truly a full-service firm. We recently sold our waterfront house in Annapolis overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. Brad Kappel and his team guided us at every step of the way, from advice on staging and bringing the house to market, to helping us navigate challenging market circumstances, to getting the best possible price. Brad's knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay area, and Annapolis in particular, was a key asset at every step. His savvy insights into market dynamics and how best to present the house to prospective buyers was invaluable. Brad or a member of his team hosted every showing, ensuring that interested buyers were given deep insight into the value of the house and its many attributes. Since we were not in the Annapolis area during most of the time that the house was on the market, his hands-on and competent approach gave us comfort that things were being properly attended to and presented. Brad's outstanding relationship with a wide network of real estate agents also helped through positive and honest contacts with those who saw the house. He helped us navigate the occasionally thorny issue of responding to offers with a fact-based and logical approach that helped us overcome initial challenges and arrive at a very favorable position. Brad also brought a personal approach to dealing with us personally. He was always available for questions and to discuss strategy.
