I was looking to sell my lakefront cottage in Millerton, New York recently. Not knowing anyone in the real estate industry in the area, I randomly selected Dutchess Country Realty, smack dab in the heart of Millerton. Sometimes, one just gets lucky!

There, I met Brad Rebillard, licensed real estate broker and owner of the concern. Brad turned out to be friendly, warm, outgoing, good humored, and, most importantly, extremely knowledgeable about real estate and Dutchess County. He knew the ins and outs of the industry like the insider that he is. When we conferred about selling my lakefront property, he knew what to emphasize, what to minimize, where to highlight, etc. He also knew the somewhat complex laws and statutes of Hudson Valley real estate like a pro. I had a ton of questions and inquiries. There was nothing, however, that I could bring forth that he had not encountered many times prior in his multi-decade career!

As the process unfolded, Brad responded to my texts and emails promptly, knew where to steer me when my knowledge was lacking, and reassured me that all was well in hand. There were some unique qualities about the property that made the sale a bit challenging. Yet, Brad never seemed deterred by this and never grew weary of showing the property to prospective buyers. As it turns out, I was able to sell the property for much, much more than I initially expected!
